Secondary School Futsal 

  • Who: Yrs 9 - 13
  • Venue: YMCA
  • Day: Monday afternoons / evening.
  • Teams: 5 players + 3 subs 
  • Commencing Monday 19 October 2026 (with a break at Labour weekend).
  • Transport: School van available for early games. Games after 4pm  require students to make their own way to the YMCA

Committment: Players  MUST communicate in the team WHATS APP group prior to MONDAY.  Ongoing unexplained absenses may result in a  $75 fee being passed on.

Junior Volleyball 

  • Who: Yrs 8, 9 + 10
  • Venue: Mākoura COllege Gym
  • Day: Monday afternoons / evening.
  • Teams: 10 Max 
  • Commencing Monday 19th October 2026 (with a break at Labour weekend).

Committment: Players  MUST communicate in the team WHATS APP group prior to MONDAY.  Ongoing unexplained absenses may result in a  $75 fee being passed on.

Secondary School Floorball

  • Who: Yr 9 - 13
  • Teams: of 4 + max 3 subs
  • Venue: TBC (will be indoors)
  • Day: Tuesday afternoons
  • Commencing Tuesday 20 October 2026

Mākoura Intra Tenpin Bowling 

  • Who: Yr 9 - 13 Non Participants 
  • Teams: of 2
  • Venue: Masterbowl 
  • Day: Wednesday 4pm - 5pm 
  • Transport: Van ride's available to the venue and home 
  • Commencing Tuesday 28th October 2026​​​​​​​

Secondary School Pickleball 

  • Teams: of 2
  • Venue: YMCA,
  • Day: Wednesday Afternoons
  • Commencing Wednesday 21 October 2026
  • All Equipment provided

Junior Touch Rugby 

  • Who: Yr 8, 9 - 10
  • Teams: of 14
  • Venue: Mākoura College 
  • Day: Thursday Afternoons
  • Commencing Thursday 22 October 2026

Junior Tennis 

  • When: 3.30pm Fridays
  • Competition Length: Friday Night: 7 rounds, including finals on Friday 27th November
  • Match Format: Friday Night is 2 sets to 4 games, with a 3rd set super tie-break if required.
  • Grades: Friday - Higher Grades (including Championship): Teams with players with good experience – Year 9, 10 and below (Term 4 2026).
