88.1 Hit Student Radio is Mākoura College's Contemporary Hit Music Radio Station broadcasting 24/7 from our transmission site right here in the school grounds.

We play Top 40 Tracks, New Music and a few Old School Hits.   As well as playing non-stop music, we have Media Studies students presenting shows throughout the week.

You can tune in from your home and/or car radio.  Our coverage area is about 3 - 5 kilometres from the school, but some geographical or building features around the town can interrupt our signal.  Basically, if you are close to the college you'll be able to tune in.
